The Guyanese Heritage Museum
I spent today with Guyanese-born New York-based Curator Grace Aneiza Ali, exploring one of Guyana's richest collections of privately-owned national treasures, the Guyanese Heritage Museum on the West Coast of Demerara.
Unfortunately we couldn't take photographs of the more interesting artifacts on the second floor. But I was allowed to take photographs of these pieces on the ground floor.
All in all, it was a beautiful experience and I would encourage every Guyanese to visit and support the work they're doing. I'll include a map below since we had some trouble finding it.
